Furniture makeover
Lorna and Graeme asked Wisteria Lane to provide an expert consultation on spacial planning and new furniture recommendations. From their Styling & Colour Consultation, our lead designer Rebecca was able to get an in depth understanding of their vision for their home. We suggested furniture and home decor to perfectly fill each room and provided mood boards for how it should all come together.
Our client’s home has a Hamptons style exterior but their personal style leans more towards modern farmhouse. They have modern fixture sand cabinetry, large rustic pendants and recycled brick fireplaces. We chose a new interior wall paint colour to pull out the warm tones throughout the home.
Our furniture choices centred around a matte black finish to link back to their cabinetry hardware. We helped them select artwork with earthy tones depicting Australian landscapes.
Our client requested pops of warm rust, golden yellows and fresh turquoise, which recommended dotting around the rooms through cushions, rugs and decorative pieces. We are looking forward to sharing images of their home makeover soon!
